Artist Profile: Belinda Haworth

Belinda is a self-taught watercolour artist who loves painting Australian landscapes, embracing naïve art in her artistic endeavours.  Through her paintings, she aims to evoke moods of calm, tranquillity, and zen-like serenity. She uses high-quality materials - Winsor & Newton professional watercolours, Arches Papers 300gsm and Sennelier brands to create her watercolour paintings. Belinda finds her inspiration from nature and loves to travel.  Her journey with watercolours began in her childhood, sparking a lifelong passion. When Belinda isn't painting, she loves doing yoga, going for long walks to focus on her health and spending time with her husband and family.

Achievements : The Lloyd Rees Prize in 2022 for her watercolour painting titled "Sea Spray" awarded at Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios - The Lane Cove Art Society - ArtXtra! Members Exhibition.

Watercolours hold a special place in Belinda's heart, tributing her creations to her late parents and will continue to create artworks that reflect her love for painting and to remember the little things.
